Give to the Historic Jones Theater

The Jones Theater depends on your generous donations to help keep our doors open all year round. As a matter of fact, 28% for our income comes from your support. As usual this season, we are offering you the chance to become an Executive Producer of one of our productions.

How? Simply tell us: “I’d like to sponsor a live show this season” and we will put your name in BIG letters on all publicity, theater programs and posters for the show you selected. In addition, to make sure that the Jones Theater continues for at least another seventy years, we have just established an Endowment Fund.

The Jones Theater has been a fixture in the community since 1938. Now, under the non-profit Westcliffe Center for the Performing Arts, the Movie Theater has grown into a hub for arts and entertainment for Custer County and the region.

Recognized by the El Pomar Foundation with the 2003 Award of Excellence for the State of Colorado for Arts and Humanities, the Theater needs the support of donors to ensure that it continues to serve the community long into the future.

To accomplish this, an Endowment Fund has been established to receive tax-deductible donations of cash, appreciated stock and other assets. Earnings from the Endowment Fund will be used to supplement annual ticket sales, grants and donations. Your generous contribution or legacy gift should be directed to the "Endowment Fund".
