Just in time for Halloween comes this comedy of the supernatural written in 1950, and subsequently turned into two movies. Gillian Holroyd seems like a thoroughly modern mild-mannered Manhattan gal, but appearances can be deceiving – she and her family are actually centuries-old witches, passing as ordinary mortals. All is well until, in a fit of pique, Gillian casts a love spell on her upstairs neighbor, publisher Shep Henderson. He falls madly in love with her as a result, but witches cannot love back – or can they? Find out in October!
