WCPA Board President Bev Allen writes: “Meet Abigail Adams as portrayed by Jessica Downing-Ford. ‘America’s first Second Lady and second First Lady’ played an important role in the founding of this nation. Indeed, one could say ‘the room where it happened’ was often her dining room or parlor. John Adams and his wife Abigail were intellectual equals who could discuss the complex issues of founding a nation together.”
