Auditions for Spring/Summer Shows

Treasure IslandAs you Like ItAuditions for spring/summer shows will be held on Thursday, January 25, 5:30 to 8 pm, and then callbacks on Saturday, January 27 from 1 to 5 pm, We will be casting for Robert Louis Stevenson’s adventure-packed Treasure Island and for Shakespeare’s classic comedy, As You Like It.

Treasure Island, as adapted by Bryony Lavery, tells the story of young Jim Hawkins and his (or, rather, her) adventures and misadventures with the “one-legged man” Long John Silver and the rest of his pirate crew as they seek the hidden treasure of the terrible Captain Flint.

As You Like It tells the story of Rosalind, who flees to the Forest of Arden with her cousin Celia to find her father the Duke, who is living there in exile “like the old Robin Hood of England” with his band of followers. Once there Rosalind, disguised as a young man, caustically observes the follies of the Forest’s denizens and plays a role in regulating their love lives – as well as her own!
