Mission statement
The mission of the WCPA is to enhance the quality of life for people in the contiguous, rural, mountain towns of Westcliffe and Silver Cliff, Custer County and of surrounding counties, through regular cultural and artistic performances, and to provide activities for children, youths and families. The goals are to serve as a home for the performing arts where none existed before, and to introduce and to train local young people and adults in acting, directing and production in music, dance and drama. Rental policy
When possible, the Westcliffe Center for the Performing Arts (WCPA) makes its facilities available to the community for events presented by organizations, businesses and individuals. The WCPA reserves the right to deny any request for use of its facilities that may conflict with its primary mission.
Accepted uses include: plays, musicals, concerts, dance, speakers, movie screenings, art exhibitions, classes, workshops, camps (i.e., jazz camp, etc.), bipartisan events (debates, etc.)
Other uses are subject to board approval.
Fees
Includes administrative fees for sound/light technician if required and/or other assistance as necessary. Additional fees may apply for BMI/ASCAP or film licensing, use of projector and soundboard.

Forms
Applicants must fill out the interest form to reserve the venue of their choice. Upon approval, parties will sign a contract to secure their reservation.
