Thank you for your support! Ticket sales only cover a portion of what it costs to produce our plays, provide youth activities, and inspire the Wet Mountain Valley and beyond with theater experiences of all kinds. There are many ways to help.
We depend on donations and sponsorship from individuals, foundations, and businesses. Put your name or your company’s name up in lights, get noticed by our 3,000 audiences each year. Sponsorships for shows, events, and more are available. Get started by contacting us now at 719-783-3004 or via email.
We rely on the support of individuals. To show you how much your support means, here’s a sample of what it takes for the shows and programs to go on every year:
- $6,000 for the Creativity Camp for children 7 to 12 and Acting for Teens for students 13-17
- $10,000 to stage Shakespeare each summer
- $2,000 to bring outstanding performances to the Jones Theater such as this summer’s Wyatt Earp: A life on the frontier
A little bit, or a lot given each month, helps us plan our future more effectively. And like one-time gifts, monthly donations are tax deductible.

The WCPA Cookbook
WCPA’s new Cookbook is titled Encore! It is dedicated to Anne Relph whose vision it was to create the Westcliffe Center for Performing Arts, which brings live theater and music, Creativity Camp for children, youth theater productions, summer Shakespeare productions, and first run movies to our community here in Westcliffe and Custer County. The cookbook also discusses the history of the Jones Theater. All of the recipes come from local or locally connected people whether they are full time or summer residents. We have a special beef section from the local Custer County Cattle Women’s association. In line with the diversity of our community we have vegan recipes, vegetable recipes, and lots of desserts, as well as everything in between!
One hundred percent of the proceeds from Encore! sales will go to fund the WCPA/Jones Theater. The book will be on sale for $15 at all WCPA events this summer.
